Which surf breaks can we surf?
On July 1, 2010, the Fijian Government passed the Surfing Decree 2010, with the objective "to liberalize access to any surf area in Fiji." This allows reefs throughout the Fiji Island group unrestricted access to surfers. The closets surf breaks to Nadi are Cloudbreak, Restaurants, Tavarua Rights, Swimming Pools, Namotu Lefts, Wilkes and Desperations.
How far away are the breaks?
The closest breaks are half and hour to 35 minutes away.
What level of experience is needed?
With such a wide variety of breaks to choose from, we can cater for all experience levels, from beginners to professionals.
What can my family do while I surf?
There is a variety of activities that can be done from learn to dive programs, water sports, Jet Ski safaris and the like. Subject to space on the boat we do cater to snorkelers or passengers wanting to watch the surf.
How long do we stay out there for?
This is dependent on the conditions and all parties on the vessel, usually trip are 4-5 hrs, in the busy season we try to do two (2) trips a day first leaving at 0600 returning at 12pm and then the second trip will depart at 1pm returning at 6pm. ( subject to weather and waves)
Can I rent boards?
There is a variety of boards to rent for all levels and body weights
How many people to each boat?
Our boats are fully compliant to Fiji islands Maritime standards and both the Captain and surf guides have their respective certifications.
What happens in a medical emergency?
In the event that a person is injured the Captain and guide will asses the situation and either manage the injury on board or return to the mainland for professional medical advice.
IT IS RECOMMENDEDTHAT ALL SURFERS HAVE TRAVEL INSURANCE IN THE EVENT THERE IS AN ACCIDENT.
