- Experienced skiers
- Or book a lesson and learn who to wakeboard
- Purpose built tow vessel
- Equipment supplied
|1-hr with lesson:||FJ$237|
The best time to go wakeboarding is in the morning, when the water is flat, and is ideal for learner-board riders. Experienced board riders who like some surface-motion would be better to book late morning or in the afternoon. We supply all the equipment that includes the board and life jacket.
We tow board riders behind a Malibu purpose tow vessel, controlled by a captain, with an observer who is focused on you during the activity. The area where we ski is along the Denarau beachfront which is relatively shallow and sheltered, so you are not competing with sea swells. If you have one friend or family who wants to come on the boat and watch you while you are wakeboarding, they are welcome and there is an ‘extra-person’ fee of FJ$10.
The lessons are 1-hour duration. Wakeboarding can be booked for 30-minutes or 1-hour at a time.
- Sail with family or friends
- Book a lesson & learn a new skill on holiday!
- Easy to use
- Capacity 1 to 4 passengers
|1-hour with lesson:||FJ$60|
Q. How many people can sail on the hobie cat?
A. A maximum of 4 for general sailing, or a maximum of 3 if you have a guide with you for a lesson.
Q. Does the cost include everyone?
A. Yes. A hobie cat lesson takes 1 hour and costs FJ$55 and comes with a guide so you can bring yourself + up to 2 friends. The first half of the lesson is with the guide, and the second 30-minutes is on your own, using your newfound skills.
Q. What if I am learning to sail, have paid for my lesson, and get into trouble and can’t return to the beach?
A. We have a rescue boat on standby to come to your assistance. Don’t worry we will come and get you!
Q. What if I am experienced at sailing and get into trouble?
A. Though this is unlikely in our protected bay, however we have a rescue boat on standby and we will come to your assistance. There is a fee of FJ$60 for this service, and we explain this detail when you are reading the liability form.
Try hobie cat sailing for a non-motorized activity. Enjoy the peaceful surround of the beach from the water while sailing offshore from your Denarau Resort. Learn a new skill on your holiday and book lessons!

Q: What size is the banana?
A: The Adrenalin banana inflatable can carry 7 passengers.
Q: Can I book for just myself?
A: Yes you can. We schedule the rides according to guest requests, so once we receive a booking, we will sell the other spots to achieve the minimum numbers. Sometimes we will need to reschedule your booking to fit in with other guests. We recommend to book your banana ride early in your holiday and to be a bit flexible with the timing.
Q: What if I can’t swim?
A: Then unfortunately we do suggest that this ride is not for you. We provide life jackets and helmets for safety, and as part of the ride, sometimes guests are tipped off the banana and fall into the water. For this reason we recommend that you have a little bit of experience to swim.
